theres a show that im watching on history channel called ‘sex in the ancient world’, and theyve discovered these ancient brothels in pompeii. so theyre using some cgi to create what the brothel looked like then and comparing it to what it looks like now. but the way they are transitioning between the 2 scenes is theyre using some kind of animation that looks like the ‘plastic wrap’ filter in PS. so the transition scene just looks like its all glistening and dripping with spooge.
